Flashback – October 9th, 1993 (UK, US & German-Charts)

This week’s FLASHBACK Video brings us back 29 years when the UK Charts were led by a male quintette with their 2nd of 4 consecutive #1 singles. The formation altogether in various line-ups had a total of 12 charttoppers in their homecountry. This one was a cover from a song originally released at the end of the 70s. Meanwhile in the USA a diva on her way to superstardom scored her 7th #1 singles in her homecountry. She now has 19 and holds the record for most #1 songs by a solo artist. And in Germany a quartet of ladies scored themselves their only #1 song as a band in the country.
